"Morgan is an outstanding coach and has great knowledge working with offenses," said (Ron) Turner. "His experience at Stanford, Indiana State and Illinois will be invaluable as we work with our student-athletes in learning and executing our offensive planning."
Prior to his arrival at Stanford, Turner spent the 2009 season as the quarterbacks coach at Indiana State, where he worked under head coach Trent Miles and offensive coordinator and former Stanford All-America flanker Troy Walters.
In 2008, Turner served as the quarterback coach and scout team coordinator for Central High School in Champaign, Ill., where he helped Central to a berth in the Illinois State playoffs.
A 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois, Turner served as a student coach for the Fighting Illini during the 2004 season. He also coached the freshman quarterbacks during summer workouts during 2003 and '04.
